Just a quick update on how things are going, though I think there are likely more people watching my gallery than my journals. Here we go anyway.

Ideopolis is still on hiatus, and I don't think I'll be posting any more to DA other than previews of the new series. I've decided to do a fairly heavy overhaul on the way things will work in Ideo and I need time to put it all together; I'm switching to text rather than handwriting, I'm doing a short intro and cover page for chapter 1, I need to redraw one or two things on the first two pages, and I think I'd like to try putting something other than flat colours in. I may or may not put up the next page of the old run, since rather than syncing up the archives, I think I'll just do everything from scratch, and do it better. But some work already went into the next one. Maybe it'll turn up, just for kicks.

I'm working on site-related stuff. I've been drafting up logos and got one of them finished, a home button around which comic subsite banners will be built. I took some time to decide between a dedicated original site, or a page on an established comic hosting site, and I think going all-original will be better for me in the end.

Good Times is going to keep running here on DA until the day the site is up and running, so all you guys will have something to read. Maybe you don't enjoy it quite as much as Ideo, maybe you think it's ten times as good. Either way, I have some great plans and I'm working with the other authors to make it something special, so I hope you enjoy what's to come.

But aside from all that, things are still pretty busy, so finding time to work steadily on the big stuff can be tough sometimes. For now, whatever progress is made will go here on DA, everything from sketches and art to comics to site news.
