Just thought I'd share the simple process I go through for GT. I may do one of these for Ideopolis one of these days, though there are way more stages there.
You can see from the sketches that I originally had Angelis talking to himself, but I figured letting the others hear his thoughts would just make things worse for the poor guy. :/ You can also see where I plot out character models. I'm pretty minimalist when it comes to that, but the characters that look darker in sketches are the ones I thought would be more troublesome.
The difference between the lineart and finished page is pretty negligible, though. Once the lineart is done, I actually erase the sketches and use the same layer for tones, because my brain is just so tiny and clumsy I can't handle excessive numbers of layers in my working files. Boo hoo.
